• Why Sports Are Great For Kids

Have you seen these adorable and totally fly kids jerseys we have in our kids streetwear collection online? Kids can be the hardest or the easiest to dress, but it rarely falls in between. We’ve found that parents who dress their kiddos in FlyPolar jersey and sweat combos have happy children who look stunning and are still ready to run around and just be kids. When we see kids in these jerseys, we think of athletes, and that reminds us of how much fun kid sport games are to watch. Fortunately for the kiddos, sports are more than just fun. Sports and kids go together like school and kids because there is so much learning involved.

“Sports are like school? No way!” you say.

To which we retort, “Heck yes.”

School and Sports are Good for Kids

School is where kids go to learn. It’s more complicated than that, but we assume you already know those benefits, so let’s move on to sports.

Sports foster the same foundational ideals as school, but in a more active way. Like a classroom, there is a group of children who spend time together focused on a mission.

Let’s use basketball as our specific sport example today.

The mission of basketball is to dribble, pass, shoot, and score more points than the other team. Kids work together in teams of five on the court to make this happen. Since kids can’t readily pick up the sport on the court at game time, there must be days of practice before each game. The practice includes listening to the coach, following directions to learn the skills, and practicing teamwork to make plays run successfully. All of this is put together during the game to work toward that rewarding victory!

Can you picture your kiddo running around the basketball court in a FLY. jersey learning away? We sure can! Shop our kids streetwear collection online to find a stylish jersey for your kiddos, and sign them up for sports. You’ll be thankful you do.

  • Two Ways To Spice Up Your Jog Routine

Heading out for another jog today? First things first, make sure you order your joggers and other streetwear online with FlyPolar so your clothing doesn’t disrupt your workout. Once you’ve got that knocked out of the way, you can carry on with your workout.

Did you know that our bodies become accustomed to our workouts over time and can predict what will happen? As a result of stagnation, our bodies don’t work as hard and get as strong as they once did when the workout first began. Therefore, it’s important to spice up workouts over time to make sure our bodies don’t get bored.

Have you been going for a jog in the same place for more than six weeks? Then, today’s the day you spice up your routine with these new workouts.

Two Ways To Change A Boring Jog Routine

    Find An Incline

Whether you live near the mountains, foothills, hills, or a staircase, you can find an incline. The increased vertical will challenge your hamstrings and glutes to put in some extra effort, and you’ll definitely feel more of a burn in your calves and quads. It’s safe to say that adding an incline to your jog will help you feel the burn.

    Go To A Track

The Swedish call this next jog mix up a “fartlek,” which is just as fun to do as it is to say. Fartlek means “speed play,” so head to the track for some good jog and sprint interchanges. Sprint the 100-meter straights and jog the corners until you get tired. The changes in speed help your heart pump faster and work your body harder, overall.

FlyPolar’s streetwear collection online features joggers. We encouraged you to snag these before starting your new workouts because they bunch at the bottom of the pant to ensure you don’t trip and fall, especially if you’re sprinting during a fartlek.
